ashes to ashes - season finale

So, the first season of Ashes To Ashes has reached its end. Unfortunately the scriptwriter turned the first 45 minutes of it into some kind of weird comedy in stead of the surreal and suspenseful police drama it used to be. Fortunately the last 15 minutes were really good. But I'm still disappointed. They had built up something interesting and uniqe and then they didn't use it to create a solid season finale. No suspense, no dark and cryptic messages from the Bowie pierrot and no cliffhanger to make us long for the next season. What were they thinking of? They should take a close look at the last episode of Lost season 3 and learn how to make a brilliant end to a great season. But at least we got to know who was behind the mask...
