This wasn't the night boat to Fiskis... I had to take the bus. But it was okay, I managed to get home.

team oceanic
This is Mona & Anna. Mona is the owner of Oceanic and my sisters boss the last two years. More heavy drinkin' with Rich... ouch!
playground
Crawled by the playground on my way home... It was green and weird... Some aliens played in the swings, but I couldn't catch them on film... They disappeared...
anna, andreas & rich
Rich came by for a couple of days of R&R in Sweden. There was a whole lot of drinkin' involved, but I hope he had a good time. I'm really tired now. It's much harder to party in Sweden than in Thailand. Why is it like that? Is it the lack of heat? The beer? The lack of cheap huge Margarita pitchers?
I actually don't have a good answer.

ooops, sorry we killed you 2.1
The latest victim in the Global War On Terrorism is Jean Charles de Menezes. ABC News reports that:
Witnesses said the Brazilian, described as looking "like a cornered rabbit", fell to the floor in a train carriage before a policeman standing directly above shot him five times in the head.
If that's true, it's totally frackin' horrible. Did they think he had the bomb in his head? There must be other ways to find out if "suspicious looking" people have bombs on them or not. Otherwise we're in big trouble. They can't just say "Ooops, sorry we killed you. But it's the GWOT you know. It's for your own safety." Yeah, this really makes me feel a hell of a lot safer. If we don't get killed by terrorists then the police will get us. Thanks George and Tony. This strategy of yours, waving a stick under the wasp's nest while drinking orange juice, will really show those evil evil doers who's the Boss. Keep up the good work!
Update:
The latest news I've heard is that Jean had been beaten up by two british guys a couple of weeks before his death and therefore could have been running away from the plain clothes police officers in fear of getting beaten up again. This just makes his death even more tragic.
I found this comment on the BBC News talk back. I think it's very good:
"A gang of BNP/National Front men look very similar to young plain clothes police officers dressed in their casual clothes and trainers. In this climate there are attacks going on by violent and misguided British men on 'foreigners'. If I saw a bunch of these 'thuggish' looking guys shouting and running after me, my survival instinct would kick in and I would be off."
I totally agree. I have written before about exactly what I think about plain clothes police officers. I don't like them at all.
Update:
7 bullets in the head and 1 in the shoulder...

thank you for the gwot guys!
I must say that this Global War On Terror is a great success! Have you ever felt safer? Almost no terror attacks at all nowadays!
But the GWOT lacks something very important. A really good theme song! I suggest The Isley Brothers and The Housemartins old hit song Caravan of Love - come on now and let us sing:
We’ll be living in a world of peace
In a day when everyone is free
We’ll bring the young and the old
Won’t you let your love flow from your heart
Every woman, every man
Join the caravan of love (Stand up, stand up, stand up)
Everybody take a stand
Join the caravan of love
Why don't take it even further? Why don't George and Tony change the name of GWOT to Caravan of Love? Sounds friendlier and more reassuring.
gray day
Me and the kids at the summer play centre actually jumped into the water and swam around for half an hour. It was really nice...

rattus norvegicus
Found this sad and very dead specimen of Rattus Norvegicus under our lunch table at Rålis today. Poor bastard. Probably ate too many picnic hot dogs.

search & destroy
Some high quality Fiskis destruction outside the school. Maybe the kids drank a bit too much of that cheap wine...
And I’m the world’s forgotten boy
The one who’s searchin’, searchin’ to destroy
And honey I’m the world’s forgotten boy
The one who’s searchin’, searchin’ to destroy

rent-a-latvian 2.0
Have you tried Hyrlett/Rent-a-Latvian" yet? Another triumph for Capitalism! Haven't you heard? There's a huge demand for Latvians nowadays! As their slogan says "Det är lätt med en Lett" - in english that is "It's easy with a Latvian". Rent one and put them to work. They are cheap and they can clean your house, cook or paint and build stuff. You can also just fuck around with them and feel like a boss. No problem. Not as long as you live in a free capitalist country! Don't be a boring old european commie now - rent a Latvian today and put him/her to work! Show some solidarity with them while you kick there tiny ex-communist asses. Go Latvian!

violence in fiskis
This is todays news headline all over Stockholm - "Youth gangs keep Fisksätra in fear". It's not that bad really... I think that more people in Fiskis are annoyed at the landlord and the excessive rent we have to pay and the crap service we get for that hard earned money we pay than actually are affraid of the "youth gangs". The most threatening people I've met so far in Fiskis were undercover policemen... sad, isn't it...

michael ledeen and that fascist groove thang
Do you remember when Donald "I don't do diplomacy" Rumsfeld refered to Germany and France as the "old europe"?
Now, a couple of years later, I've found this very interesting article in the American Conservative. The article is about the famous neoconservative Michael Ledeen and the headline is "Flirting with Fascism". It suggests that the source of Donald Rumsfelds comment is Michael Ledeen and the Italian fascist Asvero Gravelli. I really recommend everyone to read this article. Ledeen's political ideas are said to have influenced and inspired the Bush administration. That's why his fascination of Italian Fascism is so interesting. It would also be very interesting to get a neoliberal comment on Michael Ledeen's ideas and his view that Italian fascism was both right-wing and revolutionary. Neoliberals have always ranted on about that both fascism and nazism are socialistic, and thus left-wing, ideologies. Ledeen does apparently not agree. Fascism is the source of his ideas about “the democratic revolution” and “creative destruction”. Ideas that maybe explain the situation in Iraq - it's just a little bit of that old creative destruction. Watchout for Michael and his two droogs Donald and George!
fiskis parking lot
After drinkin' from the bottle I suddenly found my self walkin' over this parking lot in Fisksätra. How did I get here?
koh phangan
This time we found a little bottle ("which certainly was not here before," said Juliana), and tied round the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words "DRINK ME" beautifully printed on it with large letters.
juliana
Okay - now things start to get out of focus... This is Juliana after a Chang at Koh Phangan... weird...
hey mr dj
Why am I not allowed to drink beer at my job? Me and Juliana went out and tried some bars at Söder. I think we did really good for a while... This is the DJ at Nada enjoying his beer.

the many faces of kea
Sounds like a 70ies movie or something... anyway... me, Kea and Nike went out for a couple of beers and had a really fun Friday afternoon. Life is good.
super8
A good lookin' piece of street art that I found at Götgatan between Högbergsgatan and Medborgarplatsen. Keep up the good work!
