Resistance is from Clock DVA's 1982 album Advantage. It was their first on a major label. Just like Human League and Cabaret Voltair they are from Sheffield. Adi Newton had actually played with The Future which would later become the Human League.

Line-up for this song was Adi Newton - vocals and trumpet, John Valentine Carruthers - guitar, Paul Browse - Saxophone, Nick Sanderson - drums, Dean Dennis - bass, Katie Kassoon - backing vocals. Produced by Hugh Jones. The video was directed by Peter Anderson and Peter Care who did visuals for many of the Sheffield bands of that era.
