O Superman was released in 1981 and is one of my absolute favourite songs of all time. It's both hypnotic and beautiful, like a dream. Maybe that's why I like it so much. It sounds and feels like my dreams. Laurie Andersons debut album Big Science, that came the year after, is just as excellent. I still listen too it quite often 26 years later.
