This is just a few minutes before the riot begun. The AFA and the Invisible Party dudes probably felt that they had been waiting long enough and the Drunk Punks agreed. It was time to break stuff and show the world the glory of pointless destruction. 130 losers were arrested. A lot of energy was wasted and absolutely nothing was gained.

The riot part is the purpose of the whole demo - but you know that.
Hope nobody got seriously hurt, though, and that all the bad guys got locked up.
The riot part is the purpose of the whole demo for some participants, not all. Don't forget that even Lefties and anarchists are individuals and that there are lots of different views among them. Some think drinking beer and creating fights are fun. It's interesting that a neighbour of mine who had been at Sergelstorg actually thought that some of the AFA dudes were skinheads. They are more or less the same and could just as well be football hooligans.
But most of the lefties and anarchists who were there just wanted to follow Martha & the Vandellas and dance in the street.
