Yesterday Electrelane played at Debaser. Most definitely one of my top 10 concerts of all time. Maybe even top 5. They have a genuine kraut/progressive feel in their music. You can hear influences from Can, Neu!, Faust, Pink Floyd and Stereolab. Can you possibly have better influences? I don't think so. The best part is that they still totally sound like Electrelane. This is not a band of cheap clones. They are cool and unlike many other bands they don't need to excuse their existence with irony and boring rock poses.
