Swedish television were kind enough to send "In the Mirror of Maya Deren". A documentary about Maya Deren, the U.S. avant-garde filmmaker and film theorist of the 1940's and 1950's. She made many interesting and beautiful movies. Exploring the motion of the human body, dance, voodoo, martial arts, the beauty of nature and many other things that were not common subjects for moviemaking during the 40's.
